The Block Sconce draws from childhood memories of building with simple wooden blocks. Two painted wood panels form a geometric shade, joined with exposed hardware and a pull-chain switch that gives the piece a playful, slightly mechanical character.
 
Each lamp is cut, painted, and assembled by hand, so subtle variations in finish and texture are part of the character of the piece.
