Marshall Columbia is a 5th-generation Coloradan who grew up outside Denver making arts-and-crafts projects and declaring he would never grow up — a promise he’s largely kept. After studying fashion at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, he spent the last seven years in Brooklyn building his namesake label, blending playful imagination with thoughtful product development. Now venturing outside of fashion and into home goods and lighting, Marshall plans to follow where his imagination pushes him, whether it’s in fashion, furniture, writing, illustration, or even music. “I make what makes me happy, and right now designing lamps is what makes me happy.” — Marshall Columbia
